My views about life evolution and conspiracy theories
I am writing this page after discussion with friends on this subject…
Politics: I am not interested in politics… but I think that the world would be better in a stateless society, although this is impossible in a civilization.
Religion: fuck it, is the biggest fool of humanity. No god exists, Jesus could existed, but the resurrection is definitely a fake. The science proved that the planet is 4.7 billion years old, rather than created in 7 days, proved that the water level was constantly along history, variations are over millions of years, so the “great flood” is impossible, etc. Who is enough idiot to believe in these? Well… I know idiots that still think that the Sun revolve around Earth. Smart people realize that the bible is a work of fiction made in a period in which humans did not had enough knowledge about natural events.
2012 end of world: Too many coincidences about 2012 and too many friends telling me that world will end, made me to write about it. They say that Maya predicted end of world because their calendar with 13th baktun ends on 21 December 2012. Guess what will happen next day? Obviously the 14th baktun will begin… no end of world. Galactic alignment occur every 28000 years and no life form was harmed.
Conspiracy theories: I do not believe in these, the conspiracies are made by stupid people who do not believe in official data, people who thinks that all of what is reported in the news is manipulated and false.
The first time I ever heard of a conspiracy was in 2002 when I saw a documentary about Moon Hoax on TV. Knowing little about real Moon landing, I believed in that documentary saying that Americans faked moon landing, but in 2005 with internet connection I got a lot of info, including NASA response to that conspiracy . Since that, I don’t believe anymore in conspiracy theories.
Life evolution
Earth is 4.5 billion years old, life does exist for 3.7 billion years, multicellular organisms for 1.7 billion years. The earth had to be dominated 170 million years by dinosaurs and other animals and had 5 extinction events to get rid of them and allow mammals to take place and evolve into humans (Homo Erectus) 2 million years ago. Imagine that no asteroid hit earth 66 million years ago to kill the dinosaurs, the humans may have never appeared?
Agriculture exists for 11,500 years… that means that humans needed ONLY 11,500 years to evolve from inventing agriculture to the point of launching objects into space and land on Moon. What technology we will develop in next 10,000 years? How will be the life 1 million years in the future?
The process that delivered water on Earth may have delivered water on Mars and Venus too. But Venus lost its oceans due to runaway greenhouse effect while Mars lost its water due to loss of magnetic field and thinning atmosphere, killing any forms of life that may have existed there. Our large Moon has helped Earth to remain in stable conditions for billion years and allow life to develop so complex.
The Sun will get 10% bigger in 1 billion years time, putting Earth into making runaway greenhouse effect and causing our oceans to evaporate as happened on Venus. This will the end of complex life on Earth, but the planet will remain for 7 billion years until Sun will suddenly grow to a red giant, according Future of Earth on Wikipedia.
I read about Terraforming on Wikipedia and I am thinking that we have sufficient technology to terraform another planet, we should be able to save Earth from global warming too.
To send few people in space, thousands of people work on Earth. Multiple agencies are planning to send humans on Mars in 2020s, but in my opinion, even if will be possible to extract raw materials from Mars to support a small colony, constant supplies from Earth are required until we move most of Earth life forms on Mars (like a spatial version of mythical Noah’s Ark, which is NOT possible, because Noah’s Ark never existed and is also NOT possible to load on a boat few pairs of each animal), then different planetary conditions would prevent them to survive for long periods of time and reproduce. So is NOT possible to save human race by using another planet if Earth is destroyed.
Human overpopulation
It is estimated that the world population reached one billion for the first time in 1804. It would be another 123 years before it reached two billion in 1927, but it took only 33 years to rise by another billion people, reaching three billion in 1960. Thereafter, the global population reached four billion in 1974, five billion in 1987, six billion in 1999 and, by some estimates, seven billion in October 2011 with other estimates being in March 2012 (source: Wikipedia).
To feed 7 billion people we need also billions of chickens, pigs, cows, etc, which in their turn require own food.
In my opinion, there are too many humans on Earth that consume resources faster than they regenerate naturally and pollute planet. According Wikipedia “Between 2000 and 2012, 2.3 million square kilometres (890,000 sq mi) of forests around the world were cut down. As a result of deforestation, only 6.2 million square kilometres (2.4 million square miles) remain of the original 16 million square kilometres (6 million square miles) of tropical rainforest that formerly covered the Earth“.
In my opinion world population should have been kept under 1 billion people, technology evolution may have been slower and would have taken more centuries for humans to land on Moon, but this would allow humans to live on Earth for thousand years without fear that arable land is not enough to feed everyone without disrupting natural fauna. Now, human overpopulation cut so much forest to make space for agriculture, causing extinction of numerous animals and an even bigger mass extinction will come in few hundreds years, possible extinction of humans too, much sooner than the natural end of life on Earth in 1 billion years when oceans will evaporate.
Do aliens exist?
With millions stars in galaxy, some older and some younger than sun, and many stars having planetary systems, there are high chances that life could exists, but most likely it will be monocellular life as it was on Earth for billion years.
There are very small chances to find a form of life advanced enough to build technology for interstellar travel, and if such life forms do exist, it may be very different than those on Earth. There are also chances that if such intelligent life did existed, it may have consumed all planet resources due to overpopulation or destroyed itself in wars before humans appeared on Earth.
Most of UFO footage is fake, made for purpose of attracting media attention. If any of the reported extraterrestrial creatures with 2 legs and 2 hands, big eyes and no hair are legit, they should be an ancient Earth civilization which colonized another planet, this altered their physiognomy, and now they come back to check their home. Is well known that sea level was 120 meters lower during last glacial period (20,000 – 24,000 years ago), so today oceans may have hosted civilizations not yet discovered, but I do not believe that an ancient civilization could have been enough advanced to travel into space but could not survive on Earth by moving highlands when sea level rose due to glacial melting or in case of asteroid impact, tsunami or any other cataclysmic.
Try to describe the humanity from a neutral point of view. Imagine an alien doing a case study of humanity. Probably it will say “one of the most complex but stupidest life forms in universe, they invented politics and religion, causing war and destroying themselves“.
